Creating equal opportunities through targeted support and empowerment
The Global Association for Equalisation and Development (GAED) is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 23/21) committed to supporting the most vulnerable in our society. Our primary focus is centered on the support of orphans and people living with disabilities.
We provide comprehensive assistance including education assistance (school fees), residential care, social-psycho support, providing skills training, clothes, and food.
GAED is also proudly registered as a Provincial Youth Association in the Advocacy and Health Sector. This registration allows us to officially engage and mobilize youth in promoting community health awareness and championing the rights and inclusion of vulnerable groups across the province.
Our Core Objectives (PVO)
- To establish residential facilities for orphans and children living with disabilities.
- To provide material support (food, clothes, supplies) to orphans and children living with disabilities.
- To offer psycho-social support to orphans and children living with disabilities.
- To provide educational assistance (school fees and resources) to orphans and children living with disabilities.

Psycho-Social Support
Offering crucial social and psycho-social support to orphans and people with disabilities to help them cope with trauma, build resilience, and promote mental well-being.
Vocational Skills Training
Practical training programs to create sustainable livelihoods and independence
Empowering Through Practical Skills
Our vocational training programs are specifically designed to equip orphans, youth, and people with disabilities with market-relevant skills that lead to economic independence and self-reliance.
- 6-12 month intensive training programs focused on practical skills.
- Hands-on learning with industry-standard equipment.
- Business development and entrepreneurship training included to foster self-employment.
Graduates receive certification and essential startup support to launch their own businesses or gain employment, effectively breaking the cycle of dependency.
Baking & Pastry Arts
Professional baking techniques, pastry making, and small business management for bakery startups.
Hotel & Catering
Front office operations, food service, housekeeping, and event management skills.
Graphics & Design
Digital design, print production, branding, and visual communication skills.
Nurse Aid Training
Patient care, first aid, vital signs monitoring, and healthcare support skills.
IT & Computer Skills
Basic computer literacy, office applications, and IT support fundamentals.
Tailoring & Fashion
Garment construction, pattern making, and small-scale clothing production.
